Treatment 疗程

今天开始第三次的三天化疗。由于上周有一个公假，很多人的疗程都挪后了，所以医院很忙。今天的疗程约2小时。体重略为上升，哈哈，好开心！感谢上帝一直的保守与看顾。

这一阵子许多朋友与，同事，亲戚及兄嫂，弟都通过电话，短讯，电邮等继续来鼓励。谢谢你们的心意及祷告。愿神也大大的祝福你们凡事兴盛，身体健壮！

Today started the 3rd round of 3-day chemo.Due to a public holiday last week, many people have their treatment schedule pushed back. So it was a busy day at the treatment center. The treatment lasted about 2 hours today.My weight has increased slightly. I was happy to see that. Thanks God for His continuous protection and care.

Received some calls, sms/text and emails from friends, relatives, siblings and colleagues.Thanks to all for your continued prayers and encouragement. May God Bless you, that you will prosper in all things and enjoy perfect health.

31....... If God is for us, who can be against us? ³² He who did not spare his own Son, but gave him up for us all—how will he not also, along with him, graciously give us all things?

Chinese Physician 中医

Last Thursday, I went to consult a Chinese Physician at a free hospital here. This was at the recommendation of an ex-patient turned volunteer. I have seen another physician before at another clinic.

It was quite a crowd at the hospital. The lady physician seems to be quite popular from the number of patients queuing to see her. She was kind and offer some advise on diet too. The hospital offered 2 portions of Chinese herbs. Bought some more herbs at the medicine hall nearby, and the pot to cook the herbs. Quite some effort to cook the herb, which tastes bitter. Supposedly bitter medicines are good!

Feeling much better these days, basically all the side effects are gone. Spent most of the time reading and praying. Raining season has started. Strolling in the evenings and some light exercise in the park downstairs.


上周四到一家免费施诊的中医医院问诊，这是一位前病患的义工介绍的。之前也曾去过另一家诊所看过医师。

医院里看病的人好多。女医师看起来颇受欢迎，候诊的人挺多的。人也善良健谈，也给了一些饮食方面的建议。医院免费给了两帖药方，过后到附近的药店买了多几帖的药及煮药的砂锅。煮出来的药颇苦，想是良药苦口利于病吧。

这几天感觉很好，所有的副作用基本消失了。多数的时间看书祷告。雨季开始了。傍晚时分到楼下散散步，做些简单的锻炼。

Progress 进展

Felt much better this round. The tiredness has vanished earlier. Back to strolling in the park and some simple exercise 2 days after the chemo.

Reading some books....Learning how to pray more effectively.

这次的化疗比上一轮好许多。疲倦感也较早消失。2天后就到公园散步及做一些简单的锻炼。

阅读了些书。也学习如何更有效的祷告。。。。

Recovery 康复中

Reviewed with doctor on Tuesday. He was happy with the progress, he said there would be no need to see next round, I could proceed straight to the chemo.

Completed 2nd round of chemotherapy today. Thank God, I feel much better than the previous round.
Next round will be on 11/22-24. Expecting perfect results by then.

Mar 11:24  Therefore I say to you, All things, whatever you ask, praying, believe that you shall receive them, and it will be to you. 




周二去复诊。医生对进展感到满意，说下一趟可直接去化疗，无需再去见他了。
今天完成了第二轮的化疗。 感谢主，这次感觉好很多。
下一轮将在11月22-24日。期待到时完全的痊愈！

Next Treatment下个疗程

Review with doctor tomorrow. Depending on blood test, chemotherapy would resume tomorrow for the next 3 days.

Praying more nowadays. With God all things are possible. Thanking Him for taking of daily needs, all the small details and healing on the tooth ache.

Welcome 2 visitors today, one of them from faraway land. He brought the well wishes from the China team. I am very touched. Wishing everyone well, may God Bless each one with perfect health, peace and joy.

明天到医院复诊。若血液测试没问题的话，就持续三天的化疗疗程。

这阵子腾出多一点时间祷告。在上帝没有难成的事。感谢主每天的看顾，无微不至；也感谢祂医治了困扰几天的牙痛。

今天来了访客，其中一位是远道而来的同事，带来了中国同事朋友的真挚祝福。心中很是感动。祝愿各位身体健康，心里充满平安及喜乐！

The tiredness has disappeared and resumed stroll in the park yesterday. Felt really good.

The nurses at the hospital are really fantastic. They call few times to check on the progress.

Thanks to those who keep encouraging us, praying for us. May God Bless you and family.

My dear wife has attended me my needs, big or small, all this while. She said, " I wish I could bear half of your suffering." I said, " No, the Lord has done it all. He bore our sickness, sorrows, suffering at the cross. Completed." So we just need to come to the throne of grace, and laid down everything to receive His peace and healing.

疲倦感消失了，昨天开始恢复到公园散步。
医院的护士们真好，打了几次电话来问进展。

再次感谢所有为我们打气，为我们祷告的人。愿你们都得到上帝的祝福。

感谢妻一直以来所有大小事上的照顾。她说，“我有办法承受你一半的经历就好了。”我说，“主耶稣已经在十字架上承担了我们所有一切的病痛，悲伤和苦难。完成了。” 所以，我们放胆的来到祂施恩的宝座前，放下一切重担，来接受祂的平安及医治。

Treatment 治疗

Started chemo on 10/19, around 3.30pm to 8pm at the hospital. Just sitting on a chair to allow the medicine to be dispensed, while reading some books and watching some TV. Went home with a pump which continued to dispense medicine.

Day 2 was around 2-hour session sitting down. Went back with another pump.
Day 3 was just removing the pump.

We have been praying for no side effect. Thank God, other than some tiredness and dizziness on 3rd day, my body is taking it well. Got a swelling on the gum yesterday. After I prayed, it was gone by the afternoon. Just amazing how God is good all the time!!

Next step is to eat more and gain some weight.

10/19开始化疗，从下午3.30 至8点 在医院里坐着，让药以输液方式慢慢的进入身体。同时一边看书，也看了一些电视。过后带了一个药泵回家，继续输液。
第二天的疗程仅2小时左右。过后带另一个药泵回家。
第三天到医院除掉泵，就完成了疗程。

我们全家都一直祷告没有任何的副作用。感谢主，除了一点的疲倦及第三天的稍感晕眩之外，没什么问题。昨天牙龈肿起，祷告之后，下午完全消肿了。主真是恩待了我，赞美祂！

下一步是多吃一些，增点体重。
